Sarah Webster
Veterinary Surgeon
MRCVSSarah qualified in 2003 and has loads of experience at being a vet. She joined us in January 2025 after relocating to East Sussex from the Isle of Man, she has two dogs called Chico and Kita. Sarah enjoys being out with her dogs and her daily running.

Larissa Pozzati
Veterinary Surgeon
Larissa graduated from Milano University in 1999, but she’s been passionate about animal care since reading James Herriot when she was 10. She has worked in practices across Europe and is particularly interested in the use of acupuncture for pain management. She spends her spare time volunteering in different parts of the world and loves all of the weird and wonderful cases which come with her role.

Si Keirle
Veterinary Surgeon
Si grew up in South-West London and gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from The University of Leeds in 2010, before going on to study Veterinary Medicine at The Royal Veterinary College, completing the degree with honours. After graduating in 2015, Si worked in small animal practice in Surrey before moving to the South East coast and joining Meridian in March 2025. He loves working in general practice with a keen interest in soft tissue surgery.

Fiona Attwater
Head Veterinary Nurse
RVN Dip AVNFiona joined our team as head nurse in 2007, and has since completed a diploma in surgical nursing and a certificate in canine behaviour, in which she achieved a distinction. When she’s not working, she enjoys exploring Eastbourne with her husband and their son, Harvey.

Rowena Weald
Deputy Head Nurse
RVNRowena qualified as a vet nurse in 2012, and joined the team in 2019. She’s incredibly passionate about animal welfare, and volunteers with the British Hen Welfare Trust, helping to rehome battery hens. In her spare time, she enjoys vegan cooking and strolling along the River Ouse with her husband and Jack Russell called Alma.

Victoria McCabe
Veterinary Nurse
RVNVicki joined the team in 2012, after earning her foundation degree in animal science at Plumpton College, where she helped to hand-rear a skunk called Hugo! She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2016, and has a baby and a milk snake called Milky Joe at home.

Hayley Farmer
Veterinary Nurse
RVNHayley joined us in August 2024 after completing her 3 years of training and she is currently waiting to qualify.Hayley lives in Woodingdean and in her spare time enjoys walking her dogs Eddie and Flynn and looking after her rabbit ‘Stanley.’ She really enjoy travelling, socialising with friends and relaxation. -
Alisha Zaloumis
Veterinary Nurse
RVNAlisha studied at Plumpton College and qualified in February 2025. She has been at Meridian since 2020 and lives in Peacehaven with her collie dog called Bonnie, and her cat called Cheeto.

Claire Andrews
Receptionist
Claire joined our team in 2022 and has never looked back. She loves all aspects of animal and wildlife care, and can often be found exploring the beach and countryside. She lives in Rottingdean with her husband, three cats and two crazy cocker spaniels, and is a keen amateur wildlife photographer.

Lyn Sherwood
Receptionist
Lyn joined our practice in 2010 and works part-time as part of our reception team. She can be found at the reception desk most mornings (and occasional Saturdays), and is always interested in learning about what happens behind the scenes – our nurses often save microscope slides for her to look at!

Lorraine Law
Receptionist
Lorraine has been a member of our reception team since 2012 and usually works on Thursdays and Fridays. She runs her own dance club in her spare time, which features 1940s and 1950s music on heavy rotation! She lives in Saltdean with her three children and her Staffie-cross Maddy, who is completely mad!

Suzanne Spencer
Receptionist
Suzanne joined the Meridian reception team in 2019 and lives locally in Peacehaven with her husband, three cocker spaniels and mad cockerpoo. She finds all aspects of the veterinary industry fascinating and is always eager to learn. In her own time, she enjoys cross-stitch – she has been published in a few Jane Greenoff books – and knits jackets for rescued hens.
